in St. Antonin-Noble-Val, South West France....

'Le
Pigeonnier' is situated in St. Antonin-Noble-Val, a beautiful area in South West
France; 90 minutes from Toulouse
and Rodez, 485 miles from Le
Havre,
Dieppe or Caen
mostly by motorway and double carriageway.
St Antonin is a delightful medieval town set in the
limestone gorges of the River Aveyron. The
neighbouring bastide villages, perched on hilltops, provide charming places to visit. Cordes, Najac and Penne are 40 minutes away. Albi, with its Toulouse-Lautrec exhibition, is 1
hour.

A lovely area for relaxing, for walking, for exploring, for
painting; you can canoe on the River Aveyron,
abseil or hang-glide, or you can lie by the pool and watch the buzzards
circling over the valley.

The house is a charming old stone traditional French house set on a
hillside 3 miles from St Antonin Noble Val.
There are 3 large
bedrooms sleeping 6-8 (plus a cot) and 2 shower rooms. The large living room has TV
(with CBeebies for those with children!) and a CD and tape player. The
large kit chen is fully
equipped with microwave, oven,
fridge/freezer, barbecue, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a
cupboard full of games, plenty of books and a table tennis table and equipment.
There are sunloungers and umbrellas round the pool which can be lit up at night for
poolside barbecues. Or if you prefer there are chairs under shady trees on the
courtyard.
The area has good, cheap restaurants
and the fine Gaillac wine is produced an hour away amidst beautiful unspoilt countryside.
